Photogrammetry for hull design and boat modeling
Orca3D user Edgar Tovar of A.T. Suministros S.A. de C.V., a marine engineering and naval architecture firm based in Cancun, Q. Roo, Mexico, recently completed a project to reproduce a hull model of an existing boat using photogrammetry. Once the model was created in Rhino, he was able to use Orca3D to compute hydrostatics.
