Hi, does anybody know how to make the FOS and FOB surfaces ror the lines plan ? While these surfaces seem to be flat on my model, the wl at 0m and the buttock at B/2 are just straight lines on the centerline and deckline respectively. Can i change this by manipulating the orca 3d control points of the surface?

Hello,

When intersecting a section plane with a planar surface that is coincident with the section plane, it's difficult to be sure exactly what you will get. Mathematically, the intersection is the planar surface itself even though what you really want are the outside edges of that surface. Due to numerical issues, sometimes you will get points in the interior of the surface or sometimes only portions of the exterior. I would try changing the locations of your sections so that they are slightly above the FOB and slightly inboard of the FOS. You may also be able to modify the Rhino tolerance but I would try the former first. Let me know if this does not address the issue.
