when I try to generate a weight and cost report I get a blank report with the following message "The Language parameter is missing a value "
One other improvement in this module would be the ability to assign or re-asign materials to multiple objects at once . Either through multiple selecting in the Orca explorer , or by window selecting on the screen . ---At the moment the command says " select object(s) " but I can only select one at a time . ----This is proving to be very tedious for multiple items that are of the same material .   Thanks  Mike Windsor

Ok, following an update (version 1.0.14) given to me by Tech Support this problem is now fixed.

So where would I find the file ? ---I noticed that when I click on " About Orca" it says version 1.0.10 , even though I un-installed , and then installed a file called 1-0-14.exe . ---it still tells me I have version 1.0.10

Mike:

Somehow you don't have 1.0.14 installed; it will definitely say "1.0.14" in the About box of Orca3D. Can you please try to re-install?

Thanks,
Bruce

  Bruce :
O.K ---I've re-downloaded the 1-0-14 instalation file .---- deleted all of the other orca installation files that I had in the folder from previous orca downloads . ---un-installed orca , and re-installed using the 1-0-14 file . I got a message saying that orca could not install because it could not find the 1.0.10 file . ----I retrived the 1.0.10 file from the recycle bin . double clicked on the 1-0-14 file ---all along it told me that it was installing 1-0-14 . when I open Rhino it tells me that I have version 1.0.10 ------This excercise has really wasted a lot of my time , and I've gotten the same results on three computers. ---Am I the only one that this is happening to ??

Hi Mike,

In the folder where you downloaded the 1.0.14 Orca installation file, are there any other files called "Setup.exe"? If so you will need to delete it before running the 1.0.14 installation because the self-extractor does not appear to overwrite an existing setup.exe. We are addressing this in the future by including the release number in the setup filename.
